About the Workshop
Linköping, Dec 1 - 2 (3 is spin-off) 2012
Huge academic and industrial investments are made in systems medicine. Despite this there are few clinically oriented projects and showcases that involve patients and physicians. The aim of this workshop is to bring together clinical, experimental, modelling, bioinformatic, and genomic researchers to discuss how network-based and modelling approaches can be applied to systems medicine. The first day will be devoted to networks, and the second day to modelling. There is also a spin-off event focused on liver diagnosis.The focus of this workshop is on methods and examples that already are in clinical practice, or will be within the next ten years.

- Also note that there will take place a Phd-course titled "Multi-level modelling of type 2 diabetes" for ca 25 students that encapsulates this workshop with activites before and after the workshop. The price for the workshop is included in the price for the course.
